New Bern Golf & Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in New Bern, North Carolina.
The course opened for play in 1920 with nine holes and sand greens. Ellis Maples designed the current 18-hole layout in 1947.
The course lays alongside the Trent River. The river comes into play on #17. The greens are known for being in excellent condition. The fairways are lined with tall pine trees.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,147 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,848 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 11, a par-5 that plays to 536 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 148 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, a 407-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at New Bern Golf & CC is # 14, a 452 yard par-5.
